Recently the council met for our summer 2014 meeting at the Eastern Nebraska 4-H Center. It was an exciting meeting filled with different activities. As a council, we grew as a team while we crossed a high ropes course. Throughout the course, we helped guide each other through the scary parts and cheered everyone on. Afterwards, we got "down to business" and worked on a three year plan for the council. The following day, we met with Governor Heineman for the last time, as he will be terming out of office. We discussed our plans with him, discussed current issues, and even squeezed in a few selfies at the end. It was a GREAT meeting and very productive to say the least!
